Letter to Senator

Get involved and get your coworkers involved to combat contract routes! If you are having a hard time coming up with the right words to urge your Senators to support S. 1457, the Senate bill to outlaw Contract routes, maybe this can help.

I have been in contact with a rural carrier who made a great suggestion.
How about writing a letter to your Senators from your post office and ask all of your coworkers to sign it.. This rural carrier even submitted a template for you to use...
We can only combat this by using one collective voice... If your coworkers don't have the time to write their own letter, ask them to sign one showing the solidarity in your post office against contract routes..

You can find your Senator's at this website: Senate.gov

You can find the sample letter here... Copy it and make it your own!

Stopping these contract routes is very important for the future of our craft and especially our leave replacements..
Get involved...Get your Coworkers involved... Using this idea makes it easy for them...
